Seafood & Local Dining

Mystic takes its seafood seriously, and the waterfront delivers. Red 36 is the casual go-to — fresh catches, great atmosphere, and some of the best seafood you'll find anywhere on the Connecticut shore. For brunch, Pop Over is a local favorite worth the wait. And if you're looking for a truly special dinner, The Shipwright's Daughter is a James Beard Award-winning restaurant that turns local ingredients into something extraordinary. Oh, and yes — Mystic Pizza is real, it's there, and it's exactly what you'd expect. Come hungry.

Book The Shipwright's Daughter well in advance — it fills up fast, especially on weekends.
